Analysis of Correlation between AMH and AFC in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Complicated with Metabolic Syndrome and Its Diagnostic Value
Objective:To investigate the correlation between anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH)level and antral follicle count(AFC)in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)complicated with metabolic syndrome and its diagnostic value.Method:A total of 119 patients with PCOS complicated with metabolic syndrome admitted to Ruijin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2018 to March 2021 were selected as the observation group, and 60 healthy women with medical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. The basic indicators,AMH and AFC were compared between the two groups, and the correlation between AMH and AFC,and their correlation with basic indicators were analyzed. The diagnostic value of AMH and AFC in PCOS complicated with metabolic syndrome was analyzed by receiver-operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Result:Compared with the control group, the body mass index(BMI),waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),testosterone(T),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),triglyceride(TG),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),AMH and AFC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that AMH and AFC were positively correlated with BMI,WHR,SBP,DBP,T,FPG,TG,FINS and HOMA-IR(P<0.05),AMH and AFC were not correlated with HDL-C(P>0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that AMH was positively correlated with AFC(P<0.001).ROC curve showed that, compared with the single prediction of AMH and AFC,the combination of AMH and AFC had higher diagnostic value in PCOS complicated with metabolic syndrome. Conclusion:AMH and AFC are positively correlated in patients with PCOS complicated with metabolic syndrome, and they are closely correlated with lipid, blood sugar and sex hormone levels.
