Effect of Palmar Locking Steel Plate Screw Internal Fixation Modified on Postoperative Pain and Joint Function in Patients with Distal Radius Fracture
Objective:To explore the effect of the palmar locking steel plate screw internal fixation modified on surgery-related conditions, wrist function, pain degree, joint mobility and quality of life in patients with distal radius fracture.Method:A total of sixty patients with distal radius fractures who underwent surgical treatment in Liuyang Orthopedics Hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into two groups by drawing lots method, the control group consisted of 30 patients who underwent closed reduction surgery with external fixation brackets, while the experimental group consisted of 30 patients who underwent palmar locking steel plates and screws internal fixation modified. The operation-related condition, wrist function, mobility and quality of life in the two groups were evaluated.Result:The intraoperative blood loss volume of the experimental group was less than that of the control group, fracture healing time, total hospital stay were shorter than those of the control group, and incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, visual analogue scale(VAS)score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the Cooney wrist joint score, anterior, postrotation, flexion, back extension activity and quality of life of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Palmar locking steel plate screw internal fixation modified in distal radius fracture can restore wrist mobility and function, and reduce pain and complications.
