Clinical Study of Massage Combined with Hot Suffocation Package in the Treatment of Vertebral Artery Type Cervical Spondylosis(Wind-cold-dampness Type)
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of massage combined with hot suffocation package in the treatment of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis(wind-cold-dampness type).Method:A total of 105 patients with vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis(wind-cold-dampness type)treated in Ganzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to October 2022 were selected as research objects,according to the treatment wishes of the patients,the above patients were divided into group A,group B and group C,group A received massage treatment,group B received hot suffocation package treatment,group C was treated with massage combined with hot suffocation package,and all three groups were treated for 3 months.The therapeutic effect,TCM symptom score,degree of vertigo and disability,bilateral vertebral artery blood flow were compared among the three groups.Result:Compared with group A(65.71%)and group B(80.00%),the total effective rate of group C(91.43%)was significantly increased(χ2=7.021,P=0.030).After treatment,TCM symptom scores of the three groups of patients were significantly improved compared to those before treatment,and vertigo,palpitation,tinnitus,headache,cold limb fear and limb numbness scores in group C patients were significantly lower than those in group A and group B(P<0.05);the vertigo disability scores of the three groups were significantly improved compared to those before treatment,and the physical subtable,emotional subscale,functional subscale scores and total score of group C patients were significantly lower than those in group A and group B(P<0.05);bilateral vertebral artery blood flow in the three groups were significantly improved compared to those before treatment,the peak systolic blood flow velocity(Vp),mean blood flow velocity(Vm)and end-diastolic blood flow velocity(Vd)in group C were significantly lower than those in group A and group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:Massage combined with hot suffocation package in the treatment of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis(wind-cold-dampness type)patients,the vertebral artery blood flow is significantly improved,the clinical symptoms are reduced,and the therapeutic effect is good.
