The Effect of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction Combined with BKA in the Treatment of Severe Double Compartment Knee Osteoarthritis in Middle-aged and Elderly Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction on the treatment of severe double compartment knee osteoarthritis in middle-aged and elderly patients undergoing bicompartment knee arthroplasty(BKA).Method:A total of eighty patients with severe double compartment knee osteoarthritis diagnosed in Puding County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to January 2023 and treated with BKA were selected,divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with oral Glucosamine Hydrochloride,while the observation group was treated with Duhuo Jisheng Decoction on the basis of the control group.The levels of C reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate and the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)were compared between the two groups.Result:After 2 months of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(82.50%).After 2 months of treatment,the erythrocyte sedimentation rate and serum C reactive protein level in the observation group were decreased significantly,and the inflammatory reaction levels were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month and 2 months of treatment,PSQI scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Duhuo Jisheng Decoction can reduce the inflammatory reaction levels of patients with severe double compartment knee arthritis,improve the therapeutic effect,relieve pain and improve the sleep quality of patients.
