Research Progress of Buyang Huanwu Decoction in the Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
As one of the most common chronic complications of diabetes,the incidence of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is related to the duration of diabetes.In modern medicine,hypoglycemic drugs combined with analgesics and antiepileptic drugs are often used to treat DPN,and the effect is accurate,but there are some problems such as large side effects,high drug resistance and poor compliance.The traditional medicine treatment of DPN is characterized by syndrome differentiation,the use of traditional Chinese medicine compound,has the advantages of many targets,wide therapeutic mechanism and low drug toxicity.Buyang Huanwu Decoction is a representative prescription for the treatment of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,which has the effect of invigorating qi and activating blood,activating channels and collaterals.This article mainly discusses the therapeutic effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on DPN from three aspects:basic prescription analysis,clinical research and basic research,aiming to study the new progress of its treatment of DPN,in order to provide a broader idea for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
