Effect Analysis of Pedicle Screw Internal Fixation Through Wiltse Approach in the Treatment of Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Fracture
Objective:To investigate and analyze the effect of pedicle screw internal fixation through Wiltse approach in the treatment of thoracic and lumbar spine fracture.Method:A total of 60 patients with thoracic and lumbar spine fracture admitted to Suzhou Xiangcheng People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were divided into Wiltse approach group(group A,n=30)and posterior paravertebral approach group(group B,n=30)according to random number table method. The total operation time, total blood loss, first time of getting out of bed after operation and total hospitalization days were compared between the two groups.Visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,Oswestry disability index(ODI),anterior and posterior edge height ratio of injured vertebra and Cobb angle were compared between the two groups before operation and 1 week and 12 months after operation.Result:The total operation time, first time of getting out of bed after operation and total hospitalization days in group A were shorter than those in group B,and total blood loss in group A was less than that in group B(P<0.05).1 week after operation,VAS score and ODI in group A were significantly lower than those in group B(P<0.05).1 week and 12 months after operation, anterior and posterior edge height ratio of injured vertebra in both groups were higher than those before operation, and the Cobb angle in both groups were lower than those before operation(P<0.05),but there were no statistical significances between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Wiltse approach in the treatment of thoracic and lumbar spine fracture has the advantages of short operation time, less blood loss, less injury and faster recovery.
