Periarthritis humeroscapularis is a disease that causes joint capsular thickening and fibrosis,arthrogryposis and reduced joint volume.External therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of periarthritis humeroscapularis is relatively less harmful to patients,and has a unique advantage in reducing pain and improving shoulder joint movement disorder,but there are differences in the efficacy among various treatment schemes.This article reviews the contents of external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine of periarthritis humeroscapularis in recent 5 years,discusses the efficacy and treatment characteristics of different external therapy schemes,and provides reference for clinical treatment of periarthritis humeroscapularis.
