Research Progress of Dual-energy CT in Evaluating Collateral Circulation of Acute Cerebral Infarction
Acute cerebral infarction has the typical characteristics of short onset time, low treatment efficiency, high mortality and strong sequelae, which seriously threatens the life and health of middle-aged and elderly people.Good collateral circulation can reduce the volume of infarction, reduce the risk of recurrence of cerebral infarction and improve the prognosis of patients.Effective establishment of collateral circulation can not only reduce the occurrence of nerve injury, but also reduce the risk of secondary cerebral infarction.Dual-energy CT can distinguish intracranial hemorrhage and calcification by calcification map,and can assist in the early diagnosis of intracranial hemorrhage after intravascular therapy of acute cerebral infarction. To explore the significance of dual-energy CT to evaluate collateral circulation in patients with acute cerebral infarction for clinical decision and prognosis, this article reviews the research progress of dual-energy CT in evaluating collateral circulation in acute cerebral infarction.
