Effect of Qinlian Siwu Decoction in the Treatment of Uterine Fibroid and Its Influence on Serum Ang-2 and IGFBP-3
Objective:To investigate the effect of Qinlian Siwu Decoction in the treatment of uterine fibroid and its influence on serum angiopoietin-2(Ang-2)and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3(IGFBP-3).Method:A total of 76 patients with uterine fibroid admitted to the Clinic of Yingtan Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into control group(n=38,treated with Mifepristone)and observation group(n=38,treated with Mifepristone combined with Qinlian Siwu Decoction)according to random envelope method.Both groups were treated for 3 months.The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom score,uterine volume and fibroid length-diameter,serum hormone level,serum Ang-2 and IGFBP-3 levels and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the observation group(97.37%)and the control group(81.58%)(P>0.05).The total improvement rate of TCM symptom score in the observation group(78.95%)was higher than that in the control group(47.37%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the uterine volume of observation group was smaller than that of control group,the fibroid length-diameter of observation group was shorter than that of control group,and serum estradiol(E2),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),prolactin(PRL)and progesterone(P)of observation group were lower than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,Ang-2 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and IGFBP-3 in observation group was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was 13.16%(5/38),which was slightly higher than 10.53%(4/38)in control group,but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Qinlian Siwu Decoction in the treatment of uterine fibroid can significantly improve the symptoms of patients,shrink fibroids,regulate serum hormone levels,reduce Ang-2 and increase IGFBP-3 levels,and the clinical application has significant effects and good safety.
