Effect of Xiao'er Magan Granules Combined with Montelukast Sodium on Inflammatory Indicators in Children with Bronchopneumonia
Objective:To observe the effect of Xiao'er Magan Granules combined with Montelukast Sodium on inflammatory indicators in children with bronchopneumonia.Method:A total of 78 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to Ganzhou City Nankang District First People's Hospital from January to October 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,with 39 cases in each group.While the control group was treated with Montelukast Sodium.On this basis,the observation group was treated with combination of Xiao'er Magan Granules,continuous treatment for 7 days.The clinical efficacy,inflammation indicators,symptom improvement time,hospital stay and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,C reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF)-α levels were decreased in two groups,and those in the observation group were decreased significantly(P<0.05),compared with the control group,disappearance time for cough,wheezing,and asthma,hospital stay in the observation group were shorter(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Xiao'er Magan Granules and Montelukast Sodium has a better therapeutic effect on children with bronchopneumonia,can reduce inflammatory indicators,promote the improvement of clinical symptoms,and the combined treatment has a higher safety.
