Clinical Effect of Sanqi Tongshu Capsules Combined with Oxiracetam in the Treatment of Vascular Dementia after Cerebral Infarction and Its Influence on Hemorheology Indexes
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Sanqi Tongshu Capsules combined with Oxiracetam in the treatment of vascular dementia(VD)after cerebral infarction(CI)and its influence on hemorheology indexes.Method:A total of 102 patients with VD after CI who were admitted in Liaoning Jinqiu Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into the study group(n=51)and the control group(n=51)by random number table method.The control group was treated with Oxiracetam,and the study group was treated with Sanqi Tongshu Capsules combined with Oxiracetam.All patients were treated for 2 months.The clinical efficacy,dementia degree,hemorheology,cognitive function and ability of daily living of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the study group(92.16%)was higher than that(76.47%)of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the clinical dementia rating scale(CDR)scores in both groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the CDR score in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the whole blood low shear viscosity,whole blood high shear viscosity and plasma viscosity in both groups were decreased(P<0.05),and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the mini-mental state examination(MMSE),Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA)and Barthel index scores in both groups were increased(P<0.05),and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sanqi Tongshu Capsules combined with Oxiracetam in the treatment of VD after CI can improve the clinical efficacy,reduce the degree of dementia,improve hemorheology,and promote cognitive function and daily living ability.
