Clinical Study on Traditional Chinese Medicine Retention Enema Combined with Doxycycline in Patients with Chronic Endometritis
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Doxycycline in the treatment of patients with chronic endometritis(CE).Method:Sixty patients with CE admitted to Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Doxycycline, while the control group was only treated with Doxycycline. The therapeutic effects, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, endometrial condition, immunohistochemical white blood cell differentiation antigen 38(CD38),white blood cell differentiation antigen 138(CD138)positivity rates and embryo implantation success rates were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the experimental group(96.67%)was higher than that of the control group(76.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no statistically significant differences in the TCM syndrome score, endometrial thickness and immunohistochemical CD38 and CD138 positivity rates between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);after treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of both groups decreased, and that of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The endometrial thickness of both groups increased after treatment, and that of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the positive rates of immunohistochemistry CD38 and CD138 decreased in both groups, and those of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the success rate of embryo implantation in the experimental group(46.67%)was higher than that in the control group(20.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Doxycycline in the treatment of patients with CE is significant. It can further alleviate symptoms of patient, improve endometrial thickness, reduce immunohistochemical CD38 and CD138 positivity rates, and improve the success rate of embryo implantation in patients.
