Application of Group Intervention Based on Behavioral Transformation Theory in Postoperative Patients with Cholecystitis Complicated with Gallstones
Objective:To explore the application effect of group intervention based on behavioral transformation theory in postoperative patients with cholecystitis complicated with gallstones.Method:Sixty patients with cholecystitis complicated with gallstones who were scheduled to undergo surgical treatment in Jiujiang University Affiliated Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care after surgery, while the observation group received group intervention based on behavioral transformation theory on the basis of the control group. Both groups received one month of intervention. The improvement time of clinical symptoms between two groups(recovery time of postoperative bowel sounds, first time out of bed activity after surgery and hospitalization time),the self-management ability[adult health self-management scale(AHSMSRS)assessment]and quality of life[general quality of life questionnaire(GQOL-74)assessment]of the two groups before and after intervention were compared.Result:The recovery time of postoperative bowel sounds, time of getting out of bed activity for the first time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical significant differences(P<0.05);after intervention, the scores of health self-management behavior, health self-management cognition and health self-management environment in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significant differences(P<0.05);after intervention, the physical function, social function, psychological function and material life scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of group intervention based on behavioral transformation theory in postoperative patients with cholecystitis complicated with gallstones has a good effect, which can effectively promote postoperative recovery, improve self-management ability, and improve quality of life.
