Evaluation of the Effect of Blood Purification on Multiple Organ Dysfunction in Children and Its Influence on Internal Environment
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of blood purification on multiple organ dysfunction in children and its influence on internal environment.Method:The clinical data of 17 children with multiple organ dysfunction who received blood purification treatment in PICU of Fuyang People's Hospital from April 2020 to March 2023 was retrospectively analyzed.General data of inflammation indexes,liver and kidney function,heart function,coagulation function,blood gas and electrolytes before and after blood purification treatment were collected for statistical analysis.Result:A total of 14 patients received continuous continuous veno-venous hemodiafiltration(CVVHDF)treatment,two patients received continuous continuous veno-venous hemodialysis(CVVHD)treatment,and one patient received hemoperfusion(HP)treatment.After treatment,white blood cell,liver and kidney function and heart function were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).But the coagulation function and internal environment were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Blood purification therapy can effectively reduce inflammatory indicators and improve organ function,meanwhile has little effect on internal environment.Children with multiple organ dysfunction should be actively treated with blood purification therapy.
