Analysis on the Occurrence of Vomiting during Chemotherapy and Its Influencing Factors in Patients with Breast Cancer
Objective:To study and analyze the occurrence of vomiting during chemotherapy and its influencing factors in patients with breast cancer.Method:The clinical data of 500 patients with breast cancer admitted to Laixi People's Hospital from June 2016 to December 2020 were retrospectively investigated, and the incidence of vomiting during chemotherapy was calculated. The age,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score, nutritional state, electrolyte state, allergy history, motion sickness history, gastrointestinal disease history, basic disease condition, tumor primary lesion, pathological lymph node and metastasis classification(TNM stages),degree of differentiation,Karnofsky score(KPS),nausea and vomiting situation at 24 hours before chemotherapy, chemotherapy drug regimen, number of chemotherapy drugs and whether or not first chemotherapy of patients with vomiting and non-vomiting were compared, then the influence factors of vomiting during chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer were analyzed with logistic regression analysis.Result:236 cases of 500 patients with breast cancer treated with chemotherapy were with vomiting, the rate was 47.20%.The age, nutritional state, allergy history, basic disease condition,TNM stages, degree of differentiation, and whether or not first chemotherapy of patients with vomiting and non-vomiting were compared, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05);the proportion of the SAS score>50 points, electrolyte imbalance, motion sickness history, gastrointestinal disease history,KPS<80 points, nausea and vomiting situation at 24 hours before chemotherapy, chemotherapy regimens containing anthracycline or platinum and multidrug combination of patients with vomiting were significantly higher than those of patients with non-vomiting,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The logistic regression analysis showed the SAS score>50 points, electrolyte imbalance, motion sickness history, gastrointestinal disease history, nausea and vomiting situation at 24 hours before chemotherapy, chemotherapy regimens containing anthracycline or platinum and multidrug combination were the risk factors of vomiting caused by chemotherapy of patients with breast cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion:The rate of vomiting caused by chemotherapy of patients with breast cancer is high, and the influencing factors include SAS score>50 points, electrolyte imbalance, motion sickness history, gastrointestinal disease history, nausea and vomiting situation at 24 hours before chemotherapy, chemotherapy regimens containing anthracycline or platinum and multidrug combination.
