Acupuncture anesthesia is a kind of independent or auxiliary anesthesia means,which has the advantages of economy,safety,less adverse reactions and so on,it occupies an important position in clinical practice.At present,the mechanism of acupuncture anesthesia has not been fully explored,clinical studies mainly focus on acupuncture's involvement in neurofeedback regulation and promoting the release of endogenous opioid peptides.In recent years,with the continuous deepening of related studies,the application of acupuncture anesthesia in various departments of surgery has been increasingly mature,the application effect has been recognized by experts at domestic and foreign,and the intervention time of this method has been expanded from the initial simple intraoperative anesthesia to the whole perioperative period.At present,the application of acupuncture anesthesia in perioperative period needs to be further demonstrated.This article reviews the application status and research progress of acupuncture anesthesia in perioperative period.
