Research Progress on the Etiology of Hashimoto Thyroiditis
Hashimoto thyroiditis(HT)is a common autoimmune disease,more common in women aged 30-50 years,the incidence rate increases year by year,with the progression of the disease,not only will appear hypothyroidism symptoms,but also found to be associated with cardiovascular diseases,adverse pregnancy outcomes and malignant tumors,seriously threatening people's health and quality of life.However,the etiology of the disease is still unclear,and it is currently believed to be related to genetic susceptibility,environmental factors and epigenetic effects.With the further development of research,more and more factors have been found to be related to the pathogenesis of HT.This article reviews the research progress on the etiology of HT,aiming to provide some reference value for the prevention and treatment of HT and early scientific intervention.
