Research Progress on the Relationship between IL-38 and Respiratory Diseases
Interleukin 38(IL-38)is the newest member of the IL-1 family, which can be expressed in the serum of both healthy people and patients. It can regulate the production and function of inflammatory cytokines by binding to related receptors and inhibiting signal pathways. In recent years, studies have found that IL-38 plays an important role in tumors, immune diseases, digestive diseases and cardiovascular diseases.Studies have confirmed that IL-38 also plays an important role in regulating inflammation in the occurrence and development of respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),bronchial asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis and so on.
