Application and Research Progress of Esketamine in Thoracic Surgery
Ketamine is a phenylcyclidine derivative,which is a racemic mixture composed of L-Ketamine and D-Ketamine.It is an intravenous anesthetic with multiple applications.Esketamine is the S-enantiomer of Ketamine.Its efficacy is twice that of the racemic mixture.It has better analgesic and sedative effects,features stable hemodynamics,and reduces the incidence of Ketamine related mental side effects.At present,the application of Esketamine in thoracic surgery has received extensive attention.This article reviews the pharmacological mechanism of Esketamine,its application in thoracic surgery and research progress.
