Influence of Aerobic Exercise Combined with Resistance Exercise for Islet Cell Function,Glucose and Lipid Metabolism of Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Objective:To investigate the influence of aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise for islet cell function,glucose and lipid metabolism of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.Method:A total of 100 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus in Songzi People's Hospital from May 2021 to June 2023 were divided into control group 50 cases and observation group 50 cases by the random number table method.The control group was treated with routine intervention for gestational diabetes mellitus,the observation group was treated with aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise on the intervention of control group.The total effective rates,islet cell function[homeostasis model assessment for insulinresistance(HOMA-IR)and homeostasis model assessment β cell function(HOMA-β)],glucose metabolism indexes[fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 hour postprandial plasma glucose(2 h PG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)]and lipid metabolism indexes[total cholesterol(TC),triacylglycerol(TG)and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C)]before and after the intervention of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The islet cell function,glucose and lipid metabolism indexes of two groups before the intervention were compared,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 4 and 8 weeks of intervention,HOMA-β in both groups were higher those before intervention,and observation group were higher than those of control group,HOMA-IR,glucose metabolism index and lipid metabolism index in both groups were lower than those before intervention,and observation group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus is better,and it can significantly improve the islet cell function,glucose and lipid metabolism of patients.
