Postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)are common complications that seriously affect patients'postoperative feelings and recovery.Understanding the high-risk factors and prevention and treatment methods related to postoperative nausea and vomiting is beneficial for improving patients'satisfaction and postoperative rehabilitation.This article provides an overview,pathogenesis,related factors,and scores of postoperative nausea and vomiting,with a focus on the research progress in the prevention and treatment of PONV.
