The Application of Pender Health Promotion Model in Patients with Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding and Its Impact on Health Status
Objective:To explore the application of Pender health promotion model in patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding(UGIB)and its impact on health status.Method:A total of 80 patients with UGIB admitted to Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen University from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group and an experimental group according to the double blind method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing care,and the experimental group was given Pender health promotion mode nursing care.The health status scores[health promotion lifestyle profile(HPLP-Ⅱ),health belief scale,generic quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)],emotional status scores[Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)]and the incidence of complications of the two groups were compared.Result:After intervention,the HPLP-Ⅱ score,health belief scale score and GQOLI-74 score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);after intervention,the scores of CD-RISC,SAS and SDS in the experimental group improved more than those in the control group(P<0.05);the incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Pender health promotion model in patients with UGIB has good nursing effect,improves the patients'health status,improves the patients'mood and psychological resilience,is conducive to the reduction of complications,and has good clinical value.
