Clinical Observation of Flutemevir Powder Inhalation Combined with Low-dose Azithromycin for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Treatment in Elderly Patients with AECOPD
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Flutemevir Powder Inhalation combined with low-dose Azithromycin for pulmonary rehabilitation treatment in elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Method:A total of 80 elderly patients with AECOPD admitted to Respiratory Department of Pingxiang People's Hospital were enrolled as the research objects from January 2021 to June 2023,they were divided into control group(40 cases)and study group(40 cases)by random number table method. Both groups received treatment after their condition stabilized.Control group was given Flutemevir Powder Inhalation, while study group was additionally given low-dose Azithromycin. All were treated for 1 month. The inflammatory indexes[C reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)],pulmonary function[forced exhalation volume for 1 second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),FEV1/FVC%],scores of COPD assessment test(CAT)and St.George's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ)and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, levels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α were decreased, while levels of FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC%were increased in both groups, and the improvement of inflammatory indexes and pulmonary function in study group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, scores of CAT and SGRQ in both groups were decreased, those in study group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of Flutemevir Powder Inhalation combined with low-dose Azithromycin is significant in pulmonary rehabilitation treatment of elderly patients with AECOPD,which can effectively reduce levels of inflammatory indexes, improve pulmonary function, respiratory symptoms and quality of life.
