Analysis of Different Molecular Typing Characteristics of Breast Cancer in Women of Different Ages in Guilin
Objective:To explore the molecular typing and pathological characteristics of breast cancer in women of different ages in Guilin.Method:From July 2021 to December 15,2023,the clinicopathological data of 320 cases of breast cancer patients in the Breast Department of Guilin Maternal and Child Health Hospital and other hospitals, the main female breast cancer diagnosis and treatment sites in the region were collected, including the size of the primary tumor mass, lymph node metastasis, histological grading, anatomical staging, estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2),proliferating cell associated nuclear antigen(Ki-67),molecular typing, etc. These data were compared and analyzed according to three age groups:≤35 years old group,36-55 years old group,and>55 years old group.Result:A total of 320 female patients with breast cancer were selected, including 70 cases(21.88%)of≤35 years old group,185 cases(57.81%)of 36-55 years old group, and 65 cases(20.31%)of>55 years old group. The clinicopathological indicators of breast cancer patients of different ages were compared and analyzed, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the expression status of ER,PR,Ki-67 positive expression level, and molecular typing composition ratio(P<0.05).Among them, the ER positive rate was the lowest in the>55 years old group, which was 44.62%,and the difference was statistically significant compared with the≤35 years old group and the 36-55 years old group(P<0.05);PR positivity rate in the>55 years old group was the lowest, and there was a statistically significant difference compared with the≤35 year old group and the 36-55 year old group(P<0.05).In terms of Ki-67≥14%positive expression, the 36-55 years old group had the highest proportion at 75.68%,while the>55 years old group had the lowest proportion at 58.46%,there was a statistically significant difference compared to the≤35 years old group and the 36-55 years old group(P<0.05).In the constituent ratio of Luminal B1,the proportion of the>55 years old group was the lowest, which was 10.77%,the proportion of the≤35 years old group and the 36-55 years old group was higher than that of the>55 years old group, there was a statistically significant difference among three groups(P<0.05).In the constituent ratio of the triple negative breast cancer(TNBC),the proportion of the>55 years old group was the highest, which was 38.46%,followed by the 36-55 years old group, and the≤35 years old group was the lowest, there was a statistically significant difference among the three groups(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the maximum diameter, lymph node metastasis, tissue grading, anatomical staging,HER2,Luminal A,Luminal B2,and HER2 overexpression types among the other tumor groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:There is no significant difference in the primary tumor size, lymph node metastasis, histological grading, anatomical staging, and HER2 of the clinicopathological indicators of women with breast cancer in the three age groups in this region, but there are significant differences in ER,PR expression status,Ki-67 expression level, and molecular typing. The difference in the molecular typing constituent ratio of the three age groups is mainly caused by the different constituent ratios of Luminal B1 and TNBC.
