Comparison of the Effects of Total Thoracoscopic and Thoracoscopic Assisted Surgery on Postoperative Recovery,Pain and Complications in Patients with Thoracic Trauma Combined with Multiple Rib Fractures
Objective:To compare the effects of total thoracoscopic and thoracoscopic assisted surgery on postoperative recovery, pain and complications in patients with thoracic trauma combined with multiple rib fractures.Method:A total of 130 patients with thoracic trauma combined with multiple rib fracture admitted to Ji'an Central People's Hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected by retrospective analysis, were divided into two groups according to different surgical methods,53 cases in the observation group were treated with total thoracoscopic surgery, and 77 cases in the control group were treated with thoracoscopic assisted surgery.Perioperative indexes, visual analogue scale(VAS)and incidence of complications were observed in the two groups.Result:There was no statistically significant difference in surgical time between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the length of surgical incision in the observation group was shorter, the amount of intraoperative blood loss was less, and the time of postoperative drainage tube extubation and ICU monitoring were shorter(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 3,5 and 7 d after surgery(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group(5.66%)was lower than that in the control group(18.18%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the surgical treatment of patients with thoracic trauma combined with multiple rib fractures, the recovery, pain and incidence of complications of patients undergoing total thoracoscopic surgery are better than those undergoing thoracoscopic assisted surgery.
