Effect of Total Glucosides of White Paeony Combined with Methotrexate in the Treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Objective:To explore the effect of Total Glucosides of White Paeony combined with Methotrexate in the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis(JIA).Method:Clinical data of 80 children with JIA treated in Fuzhou Children's Hospital of Fujian Province from April 2021 to April 2023 were retrospectively collected, and they were divided into the reference group(treated with Methotrexate)and the study group(treated with Methotrexate + Total Glucosides of White Paeony)according to treatment regimen, with 40 cases each group. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptoms(number of joint tenderness, number of joint swelling, morning stiffness time),Th1,Th2 cell,Th1/Th2,tumor necrosis fact-α(TNF-α),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),rheumatoid factor(RF)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of joint tenderness and joint swelling in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, and the morning stiffness time was longer than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Th1 cell and Th1/Th2 in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, and Th2 cell was higher than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,TNF-α,ESR and RF in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reaction between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Children with JIA receive Total Glucosides of White Paeony combined with Methotrexate can improve clinical symptoms,Th1,Th2 cell drift, reduce inflammatory reaction, and has high safety.
