Effect of Structured Aerobic Exercise Combined with Dietary Management on Blood Glucose Control in Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Objective:To explore the effect of structured aerobic exercise combined with dietary management on blood glucose control in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Method:A total of 110 GDM patients who were admitted in Beijing Huairou Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected, and divided into the study group(55 cases)and the control group(55 cases)by random number table method. The control group was received routine treatment, the study group was received structured aerobic exercise combined with dietary management in basis of the control group.Blood glucose level, body weight, body mass index(BMI),delivery mode, adverse pregnancy outcome and adverse neonatal outcome were compared between the two groups.Result:The levels of fasting blood glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in both groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention, and the levels in study group were lower than those in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The prenatal body weight and BMI of both groups were higher than those before pregnancy, but those of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the cesarean section rate was lower, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the study group(7.27%)was lower than that in the control group(21.82%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes in the study group(3.64%)was lower than that in the control group(16.36%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of structural aerobic exercise and diet management for GDM patients can regulate the blood sugar level, control the weight and BMI of patients, promote natural childbirth, and improve the pregnancy outcome and neonatal outcome.
