Effect of Mindfulness Therapy Combined with Music Therapy on Emotional Disorders in Children
Objective:To explore the effect of mindfulness therapy combined with music therapy in the treatment of emotional disorders in children.Method:A total of 60 children with emotional disorders who received treatment in the Third People's Hospital of Yichun from February to November 2023 were selected as research subjects,and were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received conventional drugs and health psychological intervention regimen,and the experimental group was given mindfulness therapy combined with music therapy on the basis of intervention in the control group.Both groups were continuously intervened for 8 weeks.The psychological emotion[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),five facet mindfulness questionnaire(FFMQ)],abnormal behavior performance[Achenbach child behavior checklist(CBCL),Conners parent symptom questionnaire(PSQ)]and symptom improvement[nurses'observation scale for inpatient evaluation(NOSIE)]were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Result:After intervention,SAS scores and SDS scores in the two groups were decreased,and the scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).The scores of mindfulness observation,mindfulness description,conscious action,non-judgment,and non-action of FFMQ were increased in both groups,and the scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of dimensions of aggression problem,social problem,activity,thinking problem and learning problem of CBCL and scores of hyperactivity index,impulse hyperactivity problem,conduct problem,learning problem,psychosomatic problem and anxiety problem of PSQ were declined in both groups after intervention,and the scores of CBCL and scores of PSQ in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of impatience,anger,upsetness,refusal of activity,temperament and grumbling and irritability of NOSIE were decreased in both groups,and the scores of NOSIE in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of mindfulness therapy combined with music therapy can alleviate anxiety and depression in children with emotional disorders,stimulate mindfulness-based awareness,guide children to reduce abnormal behaviors and improve adverse symptoms.
