Effect of Compound Sanqi Humai Decoction on Blood Pressure and Blood Lipid Levels in Patients with Hypertension and Atherosclerosis
Objective:To study the effect of Compound Sanqi Humai Decoction on blood pressure and blood lipid levels in patients with hypertension and atherosclerosis.Method:A total of 84 patients diagnosed with hypertension and atherosclerosis in People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into groups by random number table groups,with 42 cases in each group.The control group received routine basic medication,while the observation group received Compound Sanqi Humai Decoction treatment based on the medication conditions of the control group.The therapeutic effects,blood pressure,blood lipids,and inflammatory indexes levels were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the medication regimen in the observation group(95.24%)was higher than that in the control group(78.57%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,blood pressure indicators[systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)]in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,total cholesterol(TC),triacylglycerol(TG)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,inflammatory indicators[C reactive protein(CRP),homocysteine(Hcy)]in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound Sanqi Humai Decoction can effectively reduce blood pressure and blood lipid levels in hypertensive and atherosclerosis patients,and its clinical medication effect is significant,or it is related to its ability to clear inflammation in the body.
