The Effect of Li's Tiger Talisman Copper Needle Scrapping Combined with Auricular Point Pressure Beans on Patients with Insomnia with Pattern of Liver Depression Transforming Into Fire
Objective:To explore the effect of Li's tiger talisman copper needle scrapping combined with auricular point pressure beans on patients with insomnia with pattern of liver depression transforming into fire.Method:A total of 90 patients with insomnia with pattern of liver depression transforming into fire who were admitted to Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the study objects and grouped by random number table method.The control group(n=45)was intervened with auricular point pressure beans,and the observation group(n=45)was intervened with Li's tiger talisman copper needle scrapping combined with auricular point pressure beans.The intervention effect,TCM symptoms scores,sleep quality,oxidative stress level and the levels of 5-hydroxytryptamin(5-HT)and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the scores of TCM syndromes and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)after intervention were significantly lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the level of malondialdehyde(MDA)in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group,and the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),5-HT and BDNF were significantly higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Li's tiger talisman copper needle scrapping combined with auricular point pressure beans can effectively improve the intervention effect of insomnia with pattern of liver depression transforming into fire,improve the TCM symptoms and sleep quality of patients,reduce oxidative stress,and increase the levels of 5-HT and BDNF.
