Observation on the Effect of Supplemented Bazhen Decoction Combined with Abdominal Acupuncture in the Treatment of Constipation with Qi-yin Deficiency
Objective:To explore the effect of Supplemented Bazhen Decoction combined with abdominal acupuncture in the treatment of constipation with Qi-yin deficiency.Method:From June 2020 to March 2023,122 patients with constipation with Qi-yin deficiency who were treated at Suzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine were selected,they were divided into conventional group(supplemented Bazhen Decoction)and combined group(supplemented Bazhen Decoction combined with abdominal acupuncture)by random number table method.TCM syndrome score,patient assessment of constipation symptoms(PAC-SYM),clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were analyzed.Result:After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores and PAC-SYM score of the combined group were lower than those of the conventional group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Supplemented Bazhen Decoction combined with abdominal acupuncture is effective in the treatment of constipation with Qi-yin deficiency in the elderly,and it can relieve symptoms and is safe.
