The Application of Outside-in and All-inside Suture Method in Arthroscopic Treatment of Senile Meniscal Injury
Objective:To explore the application effect of outside-in and all-inside suture method in arthroscopic treatment of elderly meniscal injury.Method:A purposive sampling method was used to select 100 cases of elderly patients with meniscal injury treated in Xuzhou Mining Group General Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022,and they were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, the control group(50 cases)used the outside-in suture method, and the experimental group(50 cases)used the all-inside suture method for arthroscopic treatment, and the therapeutic effects were followed up for 6 months. The perioperative indexes, knee functions, quality of life and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no statistically significant differences in intraoperative bleeding and postoperative time out of bed between the two groups(P>0.05).At 6 months postoperatively, the scores of knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score(KOOS),evaluating the role of international knee documentation committee(IKDC)and the MOS item short form health survey(SF-36)dimensions were improved in both groups, and those in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of the complication in the experimental group(6.00%)was lower than that in the control group(22.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both suture methods have achieved good efficacy in medium and long-term follow-up,but the all-inside suture method has advantages in terms of operation time and reducing the incidence of complications.
