Effect of Roy Adaptation Model on Neurological Function,Motor Function and Compliance in Patients with Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To explore the effects of Roy adaptation model on neurological function, motor function and compliance in patients with cerebral infarction.Method:A total of 72 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to Nanping First Hospital,Fujian Province from January to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. The control group was given basic interventions such as routine disease monitoring, health education, and rehabilitation training, while the observation group was intervened using Roy adaptation model on the basis of the control group. Before and after intervention, the national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS)was used to assess the degree of neurological damage, the Fugl Meyer assessment scale(FMA)was used to assess limb motor function, and a self-made questionnaire was used to evaluate the adaptability of patients in four aspects:physiological function,self-awareness,role function, and interdependence before and after the intervention, the compliance of the two groups of patients was also evaluated.Result:Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in NIHSS scores and upper and lower limb motor function between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, compared with the control group, the NIHSS score of the observation group was significantly lower, and the motor function of the upper and lower limbs significantly were higher, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group proportion of<60 points in adaptability score was lower, proportion of>80 points was higher, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the proportion of 60-80 points(P>0.05).The compliance rate of patients in the control group was 77.78%,while the compliance rate of patients in the observation group was 97.22%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Intervention using Roy adaptation model in the treatment of cerebral infarction patients has positive significance in improving their neurological and motor functions,as well as improving treatment compliance.
