The Effect of Liquid Heating Box Combined with Bundle Insulation Intervention on Intraoperative Body Temperature and Postoperative Anesthesia Recovery Time in Patients Undergoing Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Surgery
Objective:To explore the effects of liquid heating box combined with bundle insulation intervention on intraoperative body temperature and postoperative anesthesia recovery time in patients undergoing surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia.Method:A total of 74 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia who underwent transurethral plasma kinetic resection of the prostate(PKRP)admitted to Fuzhou First General Hospital Affiliated with Fujian Medical University from September 2021 to September 2023 were randomly divided into two groups, with 37 cases in each group. The control group received routine insulation management, while the observation group received liquid heating box combined with bundled insulation intervention. The preoperative, intraoperative 30 min,and postoperative 60 min body temperature and surgical indicators, the incidence of surgical complications and postoperative anesthesia recovery time in two groups were compared.Result:Before surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in body temperature value between the two groups(P>0.05);the body temperature values of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at 30 minutes during surgery,at the completion of surgery, and 60 minutes after surgery, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The surgical time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, intraoperative bleeding, total infusion volume and total amount of flushing fluid were less compared to the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of surgical complications in the observation group was 5.41%,which was lower than 21.62% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative anesthesia recovery time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of liquid heating box and bundle insulation intervention can maintain the stability of intraoperative body temperature in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia undergoing PKRP surgery, improve their surgical related indicators, prevent surgical complications, and shorten their postoperative anesthesia recovery time.
