Changes and Significance of Cervical Vascular Ultrasound Combined with Serum Irisin in Patients with Ischemic Stroke
Objective:To investigate the changes and significance of cervical vascular ultrasound(CVUS)combined with serum irisin(irisin)in patients with ischemic stroke(IS).Method:A total of 102 patients(IS group)with IS admitted to Ganzhou People's Hospital from March 2022 to February 2024 were selected, and 50 healthy subjects during the same period were selected as control group.Cervical vascular ultrasonography and serum irisin detection were performed.According to the national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS),IS patients were divided into three subgroups:mild group(n=34),moderate group(n=48)and severe group(n=20).The CVUS parameters[common carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),peak systolic flow velocity(PSV),pulsation index(PI),resistance index(RI)]and serum irisin levels of all groups were compared, and the diagnostic efficacy of CVUS parameters combined with serum irisin in IS was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Result:The levels of CVUS parameters(IMT,RI and PI)in the IS group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of PSV was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The serum irisin level in IS group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).The levels of CVUS parameters(IMT,RI and PI)in patients with severe IS were higher than those in moderate group and mild group, and the levels of PSV was lower than those in moderate group and mild group(P<0.05).The level of serum irisin in the severe IS group was lower than that in the moderate group and mild group(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of CVUS parameter combined with serum irisin in the diagnosis of IS was 0.980[95% CI(0.963,0.998)],the sensitivity was 95.1%,and the specificity was 96.0%,all of which were higher than those detected by each index alone. Conclusion:Both CVUS and serum irisin have certain predictive value in the assessment of IS disease, and the combined application can improve the diagnostic efficiency of IS.
