Analysis of Image Quality and Diagnostic Efficacy of ME-NBI Examination for Early Gastric Cancer and Precancerous Lesions
Objective:To study the image quality and diagnostic efficiency of magnifying endoscopy combined with narrow band imaging(ME-NBI)in detecting early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions.Method:A total of 43 patients with early gastric cancer and 47 patients with precancerous lesions admitted to Shangrao People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent ME-NBI examination and routine endoscopy, and the image quality of the two examination schemes was evaluated, and analyzed the diagnostic efficacy of ME-NBI in early gastric cancer.Result:The image quality scores of lesions, gastric mucosal surface and microvessels in ME-NBI were higher than those in routine endoscopy, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity and accuracy of ME-NBI in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer were higher than those of routine endoscopy, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the specificity of the two methods in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer(P>0.05).ME-NBI image results showed that the proportion of borderline, microvascular irregularity and microglandular tube irregularity in patients with early gastric cancer were higher than those in patients with precancerous lesions, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:ME-NBI can obtain clearer image quality in the detection of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions, and has higher sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer.
