The Significance of Changes of Serum Anti-Mullerian Hormone and Inhibin B during Ovulation Induction in Infertile Patients with PCOS and Their Relationship with Sex Hormones
Objective:To explore the significance of changes in serum anti Mullerian hormone(AMH)and inhibin B(INHB)levels during ovulation induction in infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)and their relationship with sex hormones.Method:A total of 62 patients with PCOS infertility admitted to Ruijin Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the observation group,while 62 healthy women who underwent health examinations in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.The observation group was treated with Letrozole combined with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin(hCG)to promote ovulation.The baseline levels of INHB,AMH,and sex hormones between two groups were compared.the serum levels of INHB,AMH,luteinizing hormone/follicle stimulating hormone(LH/FSH),progesterone(P),and antral follicle count(AFC)before treatment,on the 4th day of treatment,and on the day of hCG injection in the observation group were compared.The correlation between INHB,AMH levels,and sex hormones in PCOS infertility patients were analyzed by Pearson.Result:Compared with the control group,levels of INHB,AMH,LH,LH/FSH,P and AFC in the observation group were significantly higher,the level of FSH was lower(P<0.05);as time passed,the levels of INHB,AMH,LH,LH/FSH,P and AFC in the observation group showed a gradually decreasing trend,the FSH showed a increasing trend,and the levels of INHB,AMH,FSH,LH,LH/FSH,P and AFC in patients on the day of hCG injection were significantly better than those on the 4th day of treatment and before treatment(P<0.05).The Pearson linear correlation analysis results showed that the INHB level in PCOS infertility patients were positively correlated with LH/FSH,P and AFC levels(P<0.05);and the AMH level in PCOS infertility patients were also positively correlated with LH/FSH,P and AFC levels(P<0.05).Conclusion:The serum levels of INHB and AMH in infertile patients with PCOS show dynamic changes during ovulation induction,and are closely related to sex hormones.Among them,the serum levels of INHB and AMH in patients are positively correlated with LH/FSH,P and AFC.
