The Effect of Methotrexate Combined with Tofacitinib on Active Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective:To explore the efficacy of Methotrexate combined with Tofacitinib in the treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis.Method:A total of 60 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis admitted to Xinyu People's Hospital from January to December 2022,they were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group.Control group was treated with Methotrexate treatment, observation group was treated with combined treatment with Tofacitinib in addition to the basic treatment in the control group, all patients were treated for 6 months. The treatment efficacy, inflammation indicators,28 disease activity score in 28 joints(DAS28),serological indicators and occurrence of adverse reactions were observed in the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C reactive protein(CRP)between the observation group and the control group before intervention(P>0.05);after intervention, the levels of ESR,CRP in the observation group and control group were lower than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group in DAS28 score(P>0.05);after intervention,DAS28 scores in the observation group and control group were lower than those before intervention, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the levels of white blood cells(WBC),hemoglobin(HGB),platelets(PLT),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),uric acid(UA)and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)between the observation group and the control group before and after intervention(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal reactions, liver dysfunction, decreased white blood cells, skin lesions and fever between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Methotrexate and Tofacitinib has a significant effect on active rheumatoid arthritis. In comparison, patients treated with the combination of Tofacitinib have shown significant improvement in DAS28 scores.
