Study on the Clinical Effectiveness of Yishen Bugu Decoction in the Treatment of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Yishen Bugu Decoction in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Method:A total of 84 postmenopausal osteoporosis patients admitted to Hai'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected for the study, they were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 42 patients in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, while the experimental group was treated with Yishen Bugu Decoction on the basis of the control group for a course of 3 months.Clinical efficacy, lumbar spine bone density, visual analogue scale(VAS)scores, and serum indicators[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and interleukin-10(IL-10)]were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the lumbar spine bone density in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the VAS score was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,IL-10 level was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yishen Bugu Decoction significantly improves the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome treatment outcomes, lumbar spine bone density, reduces VAS scores, and optimizes serum indicators such as TNF-α,IL-6,and IL-10,providing a new strategy for clinical treatment.
