The Efficacy and Safety Analysis of the Combination of Shexiang Baoxin Pills and Sacubitril Valsartan Sodium in the Treatment of Elderly Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of using Shexiang Baoxin Pills+Sacubitril Valsartan Sodium in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Method:A total of 100 elderly CHF patients admitted to the Cardiology Department of People's Hospital of Jiujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone from March 2021 to June 2023 were included,they were divided into two groups by random number table method,with 50 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Sacubitril Valsartan Sodium,and the observation group was treated with Shexiang Baoxin Pills in combination,which was evaluated after 1 month of treatment.The clinical effect,cardiac function,motor function,quality of life and safety of the two groups were compared.Result:Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,the cardiac function,motor function and quality of life of the two groups were compared,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05);after treatment,the left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)[(50.20±3.16)mm],left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)[(42.13±2.91)mm]in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,cardiac output(CO)[(4.81±1.05)L/min],stroke volume(SV)[(79.92±5.93)mL],left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)[(58.93±4.20)%]were higher than those in the control group,and the 6 minutes walk test(6MWT)[(469.51±35.30)m],the maximum exercise time[(638.91±27.92)s]were longer than those of the control group;and the score of Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire(LiHFe)[(38.32±3.28)points]was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions incidence rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Shexiang Baoxin Pills and Sacubitril Valsartan Sodium can improve heart function,improve motor function and quality of life in elderly CHF patients,with high safety.
