Effect of Suhuang Zhike Capsules Combined with Budesonide on Patients with Phlegma-heat Obstructing Lung Type with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective:To investigate the effect of Suhuang Zhike Capsules combined with Budesonide on patients with phlegma-heat obstructing lung type with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)and its influence on oxidative stress indexes and inflammatory reaction.Method:A total of 88 patients with AECOPD admitted to Pingxiang NO.2 People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,with 44 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment+Budesonide,Suhuang group was coadministered with Suhuang Zhike Capsules on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,occurrence of adverse reactions,before and after treatment of TCM syndromes scores,oxidative stress indexes and inflammation indexes were compared between the two groups.Result:The total clinical effective rate of Suhuang group was higher than that of control group,and the TCM syndromes scores after treatment were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The malondialdehyde(MDA)in Suhuang group was lower than that in control group,and the glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)in Suhuang group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,hypersensitive C reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in Suhuang group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Suhuang Zhike Capsules combined with Budesonide has a significant effect in the treatment of patients with phlegma-heat obstructing lung type with AECOPD,which can relieve clinical symptoms,reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction,and has high safety.
