Effect of Ultrasound-guided Injection of Platelet-rich Plasma Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation on Patients with Early Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To investigate the effects of ultrasound-guided injection of platelet-rich plasma combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on patients with early knee osteoarthritis.Method:A total of 86 patients with early knee osteoarthritis treated in Foshan Sanshui District People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and they were randomly divided into conventional group(receiving traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment)and combined group(receiving ultrasound-guided injection of platelet-rich plasma combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment),with 43 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy,pain mediators,levels of serum inflammatory factors and knee function were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of combined group was 95.35%,which was higher than 81.40%of conventional group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of stress protein(SP),dopamine(DA),prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in combined group were lower than those in conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in combined group were lower than those in conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the pain and dysfunction scores of the combined group were lower than those of the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided injection of platelet-rich plasma combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can significantly improve the curative effect of early knee osteoarthritis patients,reduce pain,reduce the levels of inflammatory mediators,and improve knee joint function.
