An Analysis of Professor Zhang Zhenyu's Academic Experience of Diagnosing and Treating Epigastric Pain Using the Theory of Qi Movement Ascending and Descending
This paper summarizes professor Zhang Zhenyu's academic experience in the diagnosis and treatment of epigastric pain with the theory of Qi movement ascending and descending that the pathogenesis of epigastric pain is Qi movement disharmony, and the key to restoring Qi movement should be based on regulating Qi.Regulating Qi should be mainly in the zang fu viscera of spleen and stomach but not leave liver and gallbladder. The treatment of epigastric pain is mainly based on the coordination of Qi movement ascending and descending of the spleen and stomach in the middle earth,or because the Yimu Jitu does not rise, the liver and spleen fail to left levorotation, and there are many deficiency syndrome, mainly to dispersing the stagnated liver-energy and invigorating the spleen;or because Jiamu Wutu does not fall, the gallbladder and stomach fail to turn right, which is mostly excessive syndrome, descending adverse Qi and harmonizing stomach, and the treatment of promoting bile flow Qi and stomach is the first;or because the liver and spleen do not rise and gallbladder stomach does not fall, the liver and spleen gallbladder stomach should be harmonized.
