Effect of Heat-sensitive Moxibustion Combined with Bloodletting Therapy on Lumbar Function and Daily Living Ability in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective:To observe the effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with bloodletting therapy on lumbar function and daily living ability in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Method:A total of 84 LDH patients admitted to Guangzhou Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from August 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method, the patients were divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the observation group was treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with bloodletting therapy on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, lumbar function, pain score and daily living ability of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Oswestry disability index(ODI)and visual analogue scale(VAS)in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of activities of daily living(ADL)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with bloodletting therapy can relieve lumbar pain, improve lumbar function and enhance daily living ability in LDH patients, and the therapeutic effect is better.
