Effect of Tiotropium Bromide Powder for Inhalation Combined with Formoterol Fumarate in the Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective:To explore the effect of Tiotropium Bromide Powder for Inhalation combined with Formoterol Fumarate in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Method:A total of 90 patients with COPD admitted to the First People's Hospital of Fuzhou from February 2023 to January 2024 were selected,and were divided into the control group(45 cases)and the treatment group(45 cases)by lottery method.The control group was treated with Tiotropium Bromide Powder for Inhalation,and the treatment group was treated with Tiotropium Bromide Powder for Inhalation combined with Formoterol Fumarate.The therapeutic effects,inflammation indexes,lung function indexes,and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the treatment group(93.33%)was higher than that of the control group(73.33%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of C reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and the levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF),maximal mid expiratory flow(MMEF),and forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1)in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group(11.11%)compared with the control group(6.67%),the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tiotropium Bromide Powder for Inhalation combined with Formoterol Fumarate is more effective in the treatment of COPD,improving inflammatory response and lung function,and has good safety.
