Comparative of the Effect of Laparoscopic Transabdominal Preperitoneal Prosthesis and Open Herniorrhaphy
Objective:To explore and compare the effect of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal prosthesis(TAPP)and open herniorrhaphy for patients with inguinal hernia,in order to seek an efficient and safe treatment scheme for patients.Method:A total of 66 patients diagnosed with inguinal hernia admitted to Department of General Surgery,Fengcheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to August 2023 were included as the analysis objects, and were divided into TAPP group and open group by random number table method, and were treated with laparoscopic TAPP and open herniorrhaphy respectively, with 33 cases in each group.Perioperative indexes, pain degree, complications and stress response indexes were compared between the two groups.Result:Postoperative return to normal activities and postoperative hospitalization time in TAPP group were shorter than those in open group, and surgical time was longer than that in the open group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in preoperative visual analogue scale(VAS)score between open group and TAPP group(P>0.05).The VAS scores of the two groups after surgery were lower than those before surgery, and the VAS score of the TAPP group was lower than that of the open group(P<0.05).The complication rate of TAPP group was lower than that of open group(字2=4.242,P<0.05).There were no significant differences in preoperative stress response indexes[C-peptide,cortisol(Cor),norepinephrine(NE)]between open group and TAPP group(P>0.05).The stress response indexes of both groups were higher after surgery than those before surgery, but the C-peptide,NE and Cor of TAPP group were lower than those of open group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with open herniorrhaphy, laparoscopic TAPP treatment for patients with inguinal hernia has less impact on the stress of the patient's body, less postoperative pain, faster recovery, and can reduce the risk of complications.
