Application of Intrinsic Behavioral Driving Force Stimulation Intervention Combined with Empowerment Theory Health Education for Hemodialysis Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of using intrinsic behavior driving force stimulation intervention and empowerment theory health education in hemodialysis(HD)patients.Method:A total of 105 HD patients from March 2022 to May 2023 who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University were selected, they were divided into the intervention group(n=53)and the control group(n=52)by random number table method. The control group was given routine intervention, the intervention group was given internal behavior driving force stimulation intervention and empowerment theory health education. The mastery of disease knowledge,self-management ability, and psychological state[profile of mood states(POMS)]in both groups were compared.Result:After intervention, renal failure, hemodialysis, and prognosis rehabilitation nursing scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the chronic disease self-management research scale(CDSMS)scores in both groups were increased, and those in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the positive emotional domain scores in both groups were increased, the positive emotional domain scores of the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, while the negative emotional domain scores and total POMS scores were decreased, while the negative emotional domain scores and total POMS scores were lower, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of intrinsic behavioral driving force stimulation intervention and empowerment theory health education for HD patients can improve their mastery of disease knowledge and self-management ability, and improve their psychological state.
