Effect of Live Lactobacillus Capsule for Vaginal Use Combined with Antibacterial Therapy on Vaginal Microecology and Recurrence in Patients with Bacterial Vaginosis
Objective:To investigate the effect of Live Lactobacillus Capsule for Vaginal Use combined with antibacterial therapy on vaginal microecology and recurrence in patients with bacterial vaginitis(BV).Method:A total of 105 BV patients diagnosed in the Maternal and Child Health Department of Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Center from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by simple randomization method:observation group(52 cases)and control group(53 cases).The control group was treated with conventional antibiotics,and the observation group was treated with Live Lactobacillus Capsule for Vaginal Use on the basis of the control group.The differences of symptom remission during treatment,vaginal microecological environment,inflammatory response,efficacy and recurrence in BV patients were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,the pH,microflora density and vaginal cleanliness scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment,the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of lactobacillus number in both groups were higher than those before treatment,and the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Symptom remission time in observation group were earlier than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of inflammatory factors in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate of the observation group was 96.2%(50/52),higher than 83.0%(44/53)of the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was 4.0%(2/48),lower than 18.2%(8/44)in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 5.77%(3/52)in the observation group and 11.32%(6/53)in the control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Live Lactobacillus Capsule for Vaginal Use combined with antibacterial therapy can effectively improve vaginal microecological environment of patients with BV,lower the levels of inflammatory factors and reduce recurrence.
