Effects of Arthroscopic Assisted Ligament Repair Combined with Suture Anchor with Needles Treatment on Traumatic Dislocation of Patella with Cartilage Injury
Objective:To analyze the effect of arthroscopic assisted ligament repair combined with suture anchor with needles in the treatment of traumatic dislocation of patella with cartilage injury.Method:A retrospective analysis was performed on 106 patients with traumatic dislocation of patella with cartilage injury admitted to the First People's Hospital of Fuzhou from June 2021 to March 2023.They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, the patients received arthroscopic assisted ligament repair was the ligament repair group(n=54),and the patients received arthroscopic assisted ligament repair combined with suture anchor with needles therapy was the combined group(n=52).Knee function, knee bending motion and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:Before surgery, there were no significant differences in international knee documentation committee(IKDC)score,Lysholm knee score and knee bending motion between the two groups(P>0.05).At 12 months after surgery,IKDC scores and Lysholm knee scores in two groups were higher than those before surgery, and those in the combined group were higher than those in the ligament repair group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 12 months after surgery, the knee bending angle in both groups were higher than those before surgery, and that in the combined group was higher than that in the ligament repair group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Within 1 year after surgery, there was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with arthroscopic assisted ligament repair alone, arthroscopic assisted ligament repair combined with suture anchor with needles in the treatment of traumatic dislocation of patella with cartilage injury can promote the recovery of knee function, improve the knee bending angle, and without increasing the adverse reactions.
