Effect of Massage Combined with Modified Huangqi Chifeng Decoction in the Treatment of Patients with Cervical Radiculopathy with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome
Objective:To explore the effect of massage combined with modified Huangqi Chifeng Decoction in the treatment of cervical radiculopathy with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Method:A total of 98 patients with cervical radiculopathy of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicne from January 2022 to May 2023 were selected,and were divided into two groups by random number table method,with 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment,and the observation group was treated with massage combined with modified Huangqi Chifeng Decoction.The TCM main syndrome score,neck mobility,cervical spine function,and neck pain degree of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the scores of neck pain,dizziness,mental fatigue and limb numbness in the traditional Chinese medicine main syndrome score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the activities of left and right neck rotation and lateral flexion were greater than those in the control group,and the scores of neck dysfunction index(NDI)and Northwick Park neck pain questionnaire(NPQ)were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Massage combined with modified Huangqi Chifeng Decoction has significant curative effect in the treatment of patients with cervical radiculopathy with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,which can effectively improve the patients'TCM syndromes,neck mobility and neck pain,and provide an effective TCM drug therapy for clinical treatment.
